Kathryn the Grape is Self-Help for Kids
Kathryn the Grape makes self-help fun for kids—helping them feel good about themselves, and being able to understand and express their feelings. The multi-award-winning Kathryn the Grape Affirmation Series provides readers with a treasure box filled with tools of love. The series is seven books with seven tools and seven affirmations, representing seven colors of the rainbow. Each story is mindfully written and created to provide children with social emotional learning lessons by portraying real-life circumstances Kathryn the Grape encounters that they are dealing with themselves: self-doubt, being brave, expressing themselves, bullying, social comparison, self-love, and the power of personal choices. Through Kathryn the Grape’s example of learning about being magical, colorful, loving, kind, unique, grateful, and joyful, readers receive a rainbow of positive affirmations about themselves while gaining awareness that what “I am,” everyone else is, too.
The Kathryn the Grape Affirmation Series is available as seven individual books and a single seven-book special edition. Additionally, each book is available in a black and white version with illustrations outlined for coloring. This creates the opportunity for children to interact with the story more as they add color to the pages. All books are listed below.
The concepts shared in each affirmation series book are incorporated in Kathryn the Grape’s award-winning music album, “We’re All in This Together" and available for younger readers in the award-winning Kathryn the Grape Let's Read Together Series book, My Treasure Box with Tools of Love.
